Dear members/watchers,

As much as we, the admin team, would like to interact with you more often, there's only so much DeviantArt comments and polls can offer. We've been weighing a lot of options in the past few weeks, and the idea we're discussing right now is to start a Discord server for our community.

What is Discord? It is a 100% free alternative that combines Skype and TeamSpeak, meaning that there's a server that hosts various channels for text-based messaging as well as voice communication. The service has a web-based interface as well as desktop/mobile clients for use on different devices. Yes, it does share its name with one of the characters from the show, but let's put that joke aside. With this service, we could create a server for our watchers, members and the admin team, which would allow for instantaneous communication between these 3 groups in various channels.

What kind of channels would there be? For now, we are thinking about having one for vectoring feedback/discussion, one for episode discussions, a general topic-less channel, and finally, a channel for any club-related questions or issues you may have. While the admin team is made up of busy people, whoever's online could respond to your messages if they have some free time.

That being said, we'd love to hear your opinion (including if you'd not use this service at all). If you have any ideas about what kind of channels you would like to see, or have any other thoughts you want to share about this suggestion, feel free to do so in the comments.

I'm slightly surprised nobody else has asked this, but what are the rules?
